Energizing Coaching Conversations with Metaphors

Join ILCT founder Dr. Patrick Williams to play with and explore the use of metaphors in coaching. Metaphors create powerful images and invite energetic & emotional awareness. They can draw forth imagination, unlock creativity and simulate resourcefulness.

Course Objectives

1. Understand metaphor as a tool for direct communication and building client awareness
2. Practice developing metaphors that stimulate client thinking, provoke awareness and/or provide motivation and framework for client action
