Introduction to Career Coaching

COURSE ICC

This 9 hour course is for those students who are interested in coaching individuals who are facing transitions in their careers, especially during these difficult economic times.

The course is based on two texts which provide information on issues relevant to working as a career coaching, including the signs and stages of job loss grief, and the ways coaches can use these tools to encourage their client, including visualizations, goal setting, and other proven methods to help clients to not only survive but thrive during this difficult transition. helping students to appreciate and develop the skills which the unemployed, and those changing careers in these difficult times deal with, including looking for the signs and stages of job loss grief, and the ways they can work with their clients to move beyond, set goals, etc.
