The Board Certified Coach credential is a wonderful opportunity to become a credentialed coach. Our training program is recognized and approved by the Board Certified Coach credentialing body, the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). Those completing the program can earn CEUs from the National Board of Certified Counselors, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors or the International Coach Federation.

Designed for:

30 Hour Coach Training Program

Professionals with a master's degree or higher in counseling, as well as those who are licensed professional counselors, National Certified Counselors, and those who have a Ph.D., and are interested in adding coaching to their current services can become credentialed with just 30 hours of coach training and 30 hours of coaching experience.

60 Hour Coach Training Program

Professionals with a master's degree or higher in the social and behavioral sciences can become credentialed with just 60 hours of coach training.

Meets:

Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) Board Certified Coach Training Requirements.

Includes:

Core coaching competencies, “gap areas” not addressed in previous professional training, distinctions between coaching and counseling and ethics. Training also includes peer coaching practice and elective courses.

Provided via:

Teleconference; classes usually meet for 2, 1-hour calls per week, and students are invited to participate in ILCT’s Coaches Community where they can interact with faculty and classmates in a secure, online environment.
