2008
OCTOBER -
Pat's guest was Jim Strohecker, an e-health pioneer
and wellness visionary, CEO and co-founder of
HealthWorld Online. They discussed
the Wellness Inventory, a holistic assessment
and life-balance program which enables coaches
to integrate a wellness dimension into their practice.
Points covered included how the Wellness
Inventory helps coaches integrate a whole-person
wellness paradigm into their existing practices;
how coaches can use the Wellness Inventory to
build their practice and create new profit centers;
and how the certification training will help to
create more personal coherence and balance in
a coach's life, as a foundation to help support
effective wellness coaching.
AUGUST -
Pat's guest was Candia Dye, M.A., RCC, ILCT's
Director of Program Development for the Employee
Assistance & Workplace Coaching Specialist
(EACS™) program and the Leadership and Executive
Coach Training track. This was the third Forum
on Leadership and Executive Coaching and focused
on unique features of coaching executives and
corporate leaders, developing requests for proposals,
combining training with coaching, and business
planning and development.
JULY -
Pat's guest was Dr. Mike Lillibridge, ILCT's new
Director of Corporate Coaching and President and
Founder of The Peoplemap™ System. Mike explained
The Peoplemap™ Personality-Type System and
its potential to enhance communication, team effectiveness
and leadership skills. The Peoplemap™ will
be an integral component of ILCT's executive and
leadership coaching track and is a valuable tool
for both the coach's development and for use with
your coaching clients.
JUNE -
Pat Williams' announcement of the Fall launch
of ILCT's Corporate & Leadership Coaching
Program. His guests were Dr. Doug McKinley, ILCT's
Director of Corporate Coaching, Dr. Mike Lillibridge,
President and Founder of The Peoplemap™ System
and Candia Dye, ILCT's Director of Program Development
for EAP & Corporate Coaching.
MAY -
Pat's guest was Helga M. Matzko, MA, CAGS, PCC.
Helga is joining ILCT as an advanced instructor
for a new Institute for Life Coach Training course
beginning September 2, 2008: Coaching
the Addiction-Recovered Client to Full Potential. This
unique class is designed for coaches who want
to either expand their coaching business to include
addiction-recovered individuals or increase coaching
skills specifically tailored to coaching this
population.
APRIL -
Pat's guest was Marilyn O'Hearne, MSW, MCC. Marilyn
is a 1999 ILCT graduate and a current ILCT senior
faculty member. She also serves as a current member
of the International Coach Federation Board of
Directors. She discussed increasing PEP through
coaching, retreats, and writing in WORK, with
Performance/Effectiveness/Profitability; LIFE,
with Peace/Energy/Prosperity; and how to live
in the WORLD COMMUNITY, with Power/Education/Peace!
MARCH -
Pat's guest was Carol Kauffman, PhD ABPP PCC.
Carol is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical
School, where she is Founding Director of the
Coaching and Positive Psychology Initiative. They
discussed research for coaches, and the performance
edge of those coaches who can operate in the research
arena.
FEBRUARY -
Pat's guest was Lynn Meinke, PCC. They held a
lively discussion about the interface between
positive psychology and life coaching, addressing
some of the major concepts by using the following
questions as a starting place: What is positive
psychology? What is its scope of study? What prompted
its development? How is it changing the scope
of psychology? How is it similar to coaching?
How is it different? How has coaching impacted
positive psychology? How is positive psychology
likely to impact coaching? What are the implications
of the marriage of the words "positive" and "psychology"?
AUGUST -
Pat's first guest was Lisa Kramer, discussing
ILCT's new coaching track - Relationship
Coaching Specialist Certificate (RCS); the
program for coaches and other professionals who
are interested in developing a specialty in relationship
coaching. Pat's second guest was Jim Strohecker,
President and Co-Founder of HealthWorld Online
(www.healthy.net);
discussing Jim's Wellness
Inventory Certification Course, an online
assessment and life-balance tool that focuses
on the whole person in 12 key dimensions of wellness.

Pat Williams discussion with Carollyne Conlinn,
the founder of the Excelerator Coaching™ Program,
about the action learning game Great Question!™ The
game is designed to introduce and teach coaching
skills to a corporate audience.
APRIL -
Pat Williams' interview of Richard Leider, the
founder and Chairman of The Inventure Group. Richard
is the author of seven books. His newest book, Claiming Your Place At the Fire, has been touted
as "the defining" book on the new retirement.
As a commentator on life transitions, Richard
has been published in the Wall Street Journal,
The New York Times and USA Today, and has appeared
as a guest on television and public radio.
MARCH -
Pat Williams and Steve Mitten, past president
of the ICF, colleague and friend, and fellow traveler
to Africa, discuss the impact of the Inventure
Experience in Africa.
FEBRUARY -
Pat Williams' interview of Martha Lasley on "Opening
the Space for Transformation: Deepen your Coaching
Practice with Active Compassion".
JANUARY -
Pat Williams' interview of Shannon Andersen, who
wrote the book The
Magdalene Awakening: Heralding the Re-emergence
of the Divine Feminine. The Magdalene Awakening traces
the journey Shannon took to discover the meaning
of the reoccurring synchronicities of 444, the
lily, and more. The quest took her across the
world where she discovered the link between Mary
Magdalene, the Cathars and Gematria (secret encoded
numeric messages embedded in the Greek text by
the authors of the New Testament).

OCTOBER - Pat

author of The Circle of Life. Rebecca has
worked in mind-body health care and life coaching
for over 25 years, and she co-founded Health Action,
a comprehensive, integrative health-care consulting
group.
