Lisa Joy Tuttle, MA, BCC, CSS
Lisa Joy Tuttle, MA, BCC, CSS is an experienced life coach, career coach, and executive skills coach for individuals with ADHD across the lifespan, and for adults and young adults who have struggled with an addiction. She has a Masters in Applied Psychology and is a Board Certified Coach and Career Services Specialist. Lisa Joy is a founding editor of the Journal of Imago Relationship Therapy and is a longtime freelance behavioral science editor with the Taylor & Francis Publishing group. Currently, she provides individual and group executive skills and career coaching privately and at the University of Pennsylvania’s Adult ADHD Treatment & Research Program. Her positive approach to coaching is informed by her professional experience as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and eclectic group psychotherapist; her training with the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy; and the professional Practicum in teaching Mindfulness-based Stress Management, at the Penn Program for Mindfulness. Her signature coaching model Mindful Self-Management® integrates current understandings of habit change, ADHD, and mindfulness to improve quality of life for the adults and young people she coaches. Lisa Joy received her foundational coaching education at the Institute for Life Coach Training, and she is delighted to join the ILCT faculty to teach Beyond RecoveryTM—a strengths-based approach to coaching the addiction-recovering client.
