Dr. Michael Pantalon

Advanced Curriculum

Like you, Dr. Pantalon, addiction and motivation expert, is frustrated with how difficult it is to find good addiction treatment. In fact, only 1 out of every 10 people is in any formal addiction treatment and fewer still are in treatments scientifically shown to be effective (i.e., evidence-based). Worse yet, addicted individuals and their loved ones are confused about who can educate them about the various treatment options available and motivate them to make a change. Given this, Dr. Pantalon's mission is addiction HELP FOR ALL through professional recovery coaching and recovery coach training, both of which are offered at his Center for Progressive Recovery, LLC, where he is co-founder and CEO. Additionally, Dr. Pantalon is a clinical psychologist, author of the motivation book, Instant Influence, and Senior Research Scientist at the Yale School of Medicine, where he has been developing and studying cutting-edge treatments for alcohol, cocaine, opiate, and tobacco use disorders, as well as, training hundreds of clinicians, coaches and non-professionals in evidence-based addiction treatment and motivational strategies, since 1997.
