Credentialing Paths

ICF’s Associate Certified Coach (ACC)

Please visit the ICF website to see current requirements, which change periodically. Students who are interested in obtaining the ICF’s Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential must complete 60 hours of coach training, including:

10 hours of Mentor Coaching is also required. While mentor coaching may be done privately with a qualified ICF credentialed coach, documentation will need to be presented to ILCT before proceeding.

Students who have met the above requirements will submit a recording of their coaching a client of 20 or more minutes in length to the Dean of Students, as well a time-stamped transcript , as part of the review to demonstrate they are coaching at the ACC level.

Students will then earn a Level 1 Certificate of Completion which may be submitted to ICF and qualify students to sit for the required CKA examination.

The cost for completing the above is approximately $4,330, and will take about 6 - 8 months.
