Discovering Your Divine Design: A Faith-Based Coaching Journey

Step into a transformational course designed to equip faith-based coaches with the skills to help clients advance God’s unique call on their lives. This course provides both the spiritual foundation and practical tools to guide clients in exploring what brings true meaning, joy, and fulfillment in life and service to others.

You’ll learn how to help clients uncover their God-given design—the blend of strengths, experiences, and spiritual gifts that point to their divine purpose. Along the way, you’ll gain deeper self-awareness as you explore your own calling using two powerful assessments that integrate both the mind and the Spirit.

Through The PeopleMap Systems Personality Assessment, you’ll discover how God-wired strengths shape communication and relationships—and how to transform weaker areas into learned skills. You’ll assist clients as they discover their motivational needs and discern the work environment in which they will thrive. These insights become invaluable coaching tools, empowering you to help clients see themselves more clearly and step into who God created them to be. By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped with biblical principles, assessment tools, and coaching strategies to help others live and serve with confidence, clarity, and joy in alignment with God’s purpose for their lives.

Discovering Your God-Given Strengths
1. Uncover Your Divine Design — Identify how your inborn strengths manifest in your communication style and gain insight into how God has intentionally shaped your personality for purpose and impact.
2. Transform Challenges into Growth — Learn practical strategies to manage your“Achilles’ heels”, turning potential pitfalls into powerful tools for more authentic, Spirit-led coaching conversations.
3. Bridge the Mind and Spirit — Explore the sacred intersection between personality strengths and spiritual gifts, revealing how both work together to guide your calling and deepen your coaching impact.
4. Align for Excellence — Assimilating the knowledge of your God-given communication style with your spiritual gifting will enable you to incorporate all ICF Core Competencies with greater confidence, clarity, and divine alignment.

Uncovering Spiritual Gifts for Impactful Coaching
Through a powerful spiritual gifts assessment, students will uncover the divine design God has placed within them—those unique gifts that reveal how they are meant to serve and influence the world. In this transformative process, students will discover how to interpret and apply these insights in a coaching context, helping clients recognize and embrace their own gifts. Alongside dynamic new coaching questions and strategies, this course weaves in a biblically rich framework that equips students to bring God’s truth and perspective into every coaching conversation.

Learning Objectives:
1. Using the PeopleMap Systems assessment, students will learn how their personality strengths influence their communication style. They will also understand how to manage their strengths and weaknesses in the coach-client relationship.
2. By identifying the foundation of their strengths, students will clarify the intersection of their Strengths and Calling.
3. Students will identify the alignment between their primary strengths, preferences and spiritual giftings, and gain a deeper understanding of how these reinforce career and life goals.
4. Students will be able to articulate and help clients identify their personality strengths and how the shadow side of these strengths may become obstacles for the client.
5. Finally, students will demonstrate their understanding by creating a series of engaging coaching questions that help clients use the information for immediate transformation.

Preclass work may include one or more of the following:

• Completing assessments,
• Short writing assignments around assessments
• Reading assignments, including Articles, Scripture, research assignment
• weekly reflection form

This course is offered once or twice a year, depending on demand.

• The PeopleMap Systems Assessment (cost to complete online is $37)
• Bible (version of your choice)
