COURSE CAM

Enhancing your Coach Practice with Alternative Approaches

blockTextBody

Do you practice another modality the compliments your coach services? For instance, are you a Reiki practitioner? Do you use essential oils?

This self-directed course reviews several Complementary and Alternative Modalities (CAM) and discusses the ethical considerations for implementation into one’s coaching practice. Specific ethical scenarios are offered, using examples from the fields of Reiki, Aromatherapy and Nutrition that many coaches incorporate into their practices. Proper client screening and informed consent is reviewed and sample forms and required wording are reviewed so coaches can not only protect their clients but also themselves.

To complete the course you will need to have access to a computer/tablet and should be comfortable using the Internet as you will be working on an e-learning platform. Students will have one year to complete the requirements for this course.

Testimonials

This was a really great class. Very very valuable for me!

The course methodically went through various aspects of integrating CAM practice with coaching, ethical considerations, client questionnaires, and informed consent-- a very nice survey course that motivated me to refine the documents, policies, and procedures I already had in place, giving me a variety of tools, resources, and ideas to draw from.
